About me - I was born in 1976 and until the age of 6 I was lucky enough to travel, visiting many different countries. In 1984 I received as gift my first Commodore 64 and probably in that moment I realized that the computer would become one of the great passions of my life.
My first serious PC was a Pentium75, DOS 5.0, Windows 3.11 and a 14.4 Trust as modem.
"Ok, but ... what to do with it?
Right! I need that new driver for Creative Labs cd-rom drive I just bought…" The BBS was in the US ... and I still remember the two hours of international call to download it (and my mom too!)
But in 1996 everything changed! In my city opened the first Internet Service Provider (Simcoe or something like that) and I think I was one of the first subscribers.
"Oh Yes! Internet, finally!" But what to do once connected? No sites to visit, no content. No friends to mail to. "So let's chat!" and IRC was the first contact with computer professionals and IT enthusiasts from all over the world.
Quickly I became one of them.
It was after military service in the Navy in 1998 that my passion became profession. I joined a web agency in Padua for 4 years and during that time I learned most of the techniques of building websites that I still use today.
In 2002 I founded Bisiacaria.com. It was originally going to be a simple informative site of the area where I live but in a short time, from 2003 to 2008 has become one of the largest web community of northern Italy.
Today I like to constantly keep my knowledge updated (because technology doesn't wait for you)… and I'm always looking for better ways to do things better.
I love to spend my free time with my girlfriend Niky, my best friends, good beer and good food.
